After you have researched your presentation and reviewed the qualities of a motivational/persuasive presentation, start to write your presenation. Keep in mind that your presentation has two elements, the content and the presentation itself. Review the grading rubric to ensure you are completing all required elements. Not sure how to relate your content to a persuasive/motivational presentation? See the suggestions on the right.

Presentation Suggestions:

Treat your audience as potential child laborers, Utopian community members, retailers of cotton cloth, etc.  'Sell' your product or concept, placing group members in the audience to challenge, dissent or create opposition to your sales pitch. Class members decide to buy or not at the end of the presentation.

Create a debate or a present a bill to Parliament; have your audience utilize scorecards or vote for the bill.

'Organize' a rally out of the class; group members organize presentation as a call to action to support or go against your topic. Have class members choose a side or decide on a course of action at the end of the presentation.
